Deep learning at the Rowland Institute at Harvard!

Today I'm visiting the Mathis lab at the Rowland Institute to use deep learning to quantify 3D kinematics of schooling fishes! Studying the dynamics and kinematics of collective behavior is challenging because there are many instances in which individuals occlude school mates. Here some preliminary frames showing that DeepLabCut allows to follow individual fish and IDs body parts over time during feeding!
